• Starlink – You are able to place a deposit on service with them to register. This is apparently a larger number of smaller satellites in Low Earth Orbit that should provide a more consistent coverage in areas without typical internet services. • Viasat – if you have a good clear line of sight to their satellite, this is a pretty good service with several packages/speeds available. www.viasat.com   
• HughesNet – The alternate to the above. They do require a 2-year contract at last inquiry.    www.hughesnet.com

• We've heard that some neighbors take it down in their car and use local business dumpsters. This is not technically legal, so you run the risk of being caught and fined.   
• Use your own trash trailer/truck bed and take to the Dump on La Pata. Costs depend on the size of the vehicle. Some neighbors share a trash trailer for dump runs.

• Vehicles going Uphill have right of way if someone needs to pull over to let another vehicle pass. 
• USE TURNOUTS if another car is faster than you are.
• Escorting Large Vehicles Up or Down the Hill – Have your vehicle flashers on. Be approximately ¼ mile ahead so that oncoming drivers have time to find a safe place to pull over, without having to wait too long. Hold your arm out of the window with fingers raised indicating how many trucks etc are following – ie: 2 fingers = 2 large vehicles coming behind you.

Septic Care: Do not use high amounts of bleach/pine-sol, Anti-bacterial soaps and toxic cleaning products - these kill the bacteria in the tank and will lead to pumping or septic backups more often than is necessary. Try not to use heavy amounts of toilet paper – less is more!  Wipe fats from cooking pans with paper towel and discard in trash – it’s best not to put them down the sink. Add Rid-X or another Septic Tank Enzyme/Bacteria product every month!! This will help keep your system healthy.
